The pre-holidays, presents and you.

Here's a little pre-holiday "hello" from all of my dollies, gaming characters and (of course) me to all of you at Vox. I'll be pretty wrapped up (and sadly, not with wrapping paper and bows like pretty presents) with studying for exams and writing papers this next week so I thought I'd squeeze this entry in between all the chaos. I think I'll be able to finish writing all my papers before the end of this week so I'll have time to concentrate on my one exam for next week. I'm not looking forward to the exam itself, but I'm definitely excited about the post-exam: sweet, lovely, beautiful vacation.

I'd like to add to my friends here at Vox who I didn't have the privilege of sending a Christmas present to this year that I'm sorry, but I'll try to do the same for you next time a holiday comes around. The good thing about Vox is how many people I've had the pleasure of meeting, but with that good comes some bad. I just don't have the funds to send presents to everyone. (-___-) Many of you, I came across later on in my Vox life, so that's why I probably didn't get around to sending you something this year.

But. There's good news! I have a special Vox event coming up within the next few weeks that will be open to all of my Vox friends and neighbors. I'm still pulling some of the details together and getting everything ready, but as soon as I have a handle on the stuff, I'll be posting a special entry with the information. I figure that because I can't extend the holiday love to everyone all at once, why not do something that can involve them if they're interested?

If you ever get super frustrated with paper/exams, here's some advice: Go to Target and buy yourself a coloring book and crayons and spend an hour coloring. It just melts the stress away. Learned this tip from my dad who was never without crayons and a coloring book when he was going through grad school. :)

the dreaming moon- MS has the habit of taking over one's life. The same thing happened with me this past summer. I don't think I technically had a summer thanks to all of the hours dedicated into leveling my character. I don't understand how it comes so easily to some people. It's still fun though, as long as you don't get stressed out about it. ^^

angelanoel- That's a great idea. Beth and I have gotten coloring books in the past just for the fun of it. We were able to get a little more creative since we had taken a few art classes, rather than the lack of classes we had when we were little, which produced mostly scribbles. I think I'll do that as a reward for after my exams. It'll give me something to look forward to. *hugs* Thanks for that!

Yeah, man! I've been playing for a few months, but I just started playing again after a hiatus. So far, Minkka is 47, about 56% to 48. I'm taking my time leveling her. I was pretty hardcore about trying to get her to a high level but then decided that all that time and effort (and pain) wasn't worth it... so I've slowed down. It's so much fun and a lot less stressful when done right. =D That's so cool that you're brother is at 90! I wonder if I've ever come across his character...

I've never played Maple story, but it looks like something I'd really like.  I'm afraid to go look at the website, I might get hooked and start playing it instead of studying.  I definitely plan on checking it out over break though, it looks so cute!  Sorta like FF, which I've been playing a lot of on my DS.  If you get the game, let me know, I'll add you as my friend on it and we can send mail to each other through the Moogles.  ^__~

Thanks for the encouragement, everyone. I already finished one paper, so that means I only have one full paper to go, along with a revision. After Friday afternoon, I should be finished with my papers. I'll have the weekend to relax and "study." I really appreciate your positive thoughts. =D

And to those of you who have exams right now, too, or any work for that matter... I hope all the yucky stuff gets over with quickly so you can have a nice, relaxing vacation.
